Coming to the App Store
Kaart is an iPhone app for turning a route into a poster, or a short video of the route drawing itself. Build the route by hand, or bring one in from Strava or a GPX file.

Starting a route
Tap out the stops. Roads, walks, straight lines, or flights between them.
A track you already recorded, kept as it was tracked.
Connect once, then pick any ride, run, or hike with GPS.
Share a Google Maps or Strava link to Kaart and it comes in as a route.
The studio
The map, the route, the type, the frame, and the motion all sit on one canvas. You edit the poster itself rather than a settings screen somewhere else.
01
Place the stops by hand, or import a route you already have. Routes are kept in a library, so you can make more than one design from the same trip.
02
Nine map themes, path and pin styles, labels you can move, seven typefaces, a photo behind it all, and a crop.
03
Every design animates. Set how long it runs, and whether the camera holds the whole route or travels along it.
Exports
The image and the video come from the same design, drawn by the same renderer, so the export matches the canvas down to the crop.
1080 px wide, in Story, Portrait, or Square. Saves to Photos, to an Instagram Story, or through the share sheet.
The route draws itself from the first stop to the last. Three to fifteen seconds, at 60 fps.
Privacy
There's no account to make and no advertising trackers. Your route library and your designs are stored on the device. Map detail is downloaded as you work, and Strava imports go through Strava's own sign-in.
